Yes, even financial literacy fanatics have spending problems.

I am a Pittsburgh, PA native and currently a stay at home mom to two beautiful children, Jackson and Mila. My wonderful husband Matt makes it possible for me to do this, however going from two incomes to one has, and will continue to be a challenge.

(2024 update:) So I now have a part time job as a barista at my local Target Starbucks. Girls gotta pay bills!

After teaching financial literacy in a high school and writing curriculum I became a financial empowerment counselor for a local non-profit. I loved my work, but unfortunately couldn’t give it and my family 100%.

Now, I want to continue to find ways to share my passion for financial literacy, and help others feel empowered and comfortable taking control of their finances.

In addition to nerding out about money I enjoy fashion, thrifting, reading, cooking, baking, sewing, walks outside, and dating/love reality shows.
